Amazing how much brighter the world looks with no snow. I think the warmer temperatures make us all feel more alive. Saturday morning, despite being 32 degrees, was a very calm sunny morning feeling more like the 60's (with the proper under armor). A perfect morning for a nine hole walk at Fox Hills with my buddy Jeff. We actually played pretty well. It was evident after nine that most of my golf this year will probably be with a cart. My legs were pretty wobbly by the end. Also got the boys team off to a good start with time at the range and on the course. They look pretty promising.
Worked a pretty full week & will continue to do the same as business has been very steady. I'm two months into this journey and still receive cards and calls daily which just amazes me. Thank you all for your love, support & most of all prayers. I want you to know that I pray for YOU all every day.
Prayer works,
Tom

  2. Wow Tom, you are amazing getting out on the golf course in this cold Spring. I'm glad you're using wisdom about using a golf cart. Also you are blessed to have many good friends. Prayer is powerful and there is definitely power in numbers. I love you and Cheryl and it breaks my heart that you have to go through this adversity. You are not alone, you have Jesus and your great family and friends.

Thank you for the beautiful red scarf. What a wonderful surprise. I was thinking I needed to get a red scarf just recently and then it came in the mail. I can't believe you and Cheryl think about others even when you are going through hard times. Too amazing you are!!!! I trully love you guys and when you hurt, I hurt. I am continuing to pray for you and Cheryl. I will call this weekend. Give Cheryl a kiss and a hug for me. Love, Fran

  3. Hi Tom, good for you getting out there! We think of you often. Haven't checked in for a while. I am sure your medical team has told you that side effects tend to increase with each treatment. Take those nausea meds! We continue to pray for you and Cheryl.

  4. Dearest Cheryl and Tom,
We are thinking of you each and every day. You two are sure busy with all kinds of activities....good for you! We hope that soon you'll be able to be on the course, Tom, with your golf team. We know you love those days. We will be praying for NO side effects, as tomorrow begins Round 3 Chemo. We know that the Lord will be with you, guiding those medications to help you in the best possible way. And speaking of tomorrow.......

We know your faith will be strong! We love each of you. ~Barry and Leslie
