"A faithfull friend is a sturdy shelter; he who finds one finds a treasure. A faithful friend is beyond price, no sum can balance his worth." Sirach 6 Reminds me of all my faithful friends praying for me. Chemo round three is finished with just some heartburn for a few hours in the middle of the night last night. Friday (tomorrow) is usually my worst day & the doctor gave me some new meds to help cope. He seems to be pretty pleased with the way treatment is going and my blood labs have been pretty positive. Next event is a CT scan scheduled for the 18th to see how the chemo is working. Will advise. Blessings, Tom '

  2. Beautiful verses about friendship. You have such a great attitude and it shows you have the Lord working in and through you and Cheryl. I'm delighted the nausea tormentor hasn't appeared. I will continue to pray for your healing. One can put a thousand to flight, two can put ten thousand to flight how many can many friends and family put to flight. With much love and gratitude for your friendship, Love, Fran and Mike

  3. Tom-
Do all your friends know that you are being inducted into the Catholic League Hall of Fame AND the Fr. Gabriel Richard HS Hall of Fame this spring? ...and that you and Cheryl are being honored at a dinner at Richard on Thursday, April 14, 2011 with details on the FGRHS website?
    Let's tell them...
